Eye candy
Based on a true story, this movie has some of the most beautiful scenery one will see anywhere. Any reputable history book will detail just how cruel the French Indian war was. Coupled with the challenges of living in the wilderness . . .I found myself thinking "how did they do it?" This movie is just a glimpse of the how.

Imaginative story
If you like science fiction, time travel, space exploration rapped around family and family values, this is the ticket for you. I thought the characters were really engaging. Sometimes, one must forget the improbable, accept the story for what it is and just enjoy. This is that kind of movie.
