Short but filled with a homespun view.
1 of 1 found this helpful Diary of an early American Boy is a fantastic and realistic peek at life in the start of 1805 and continues for nearly 15 years. Anyone interested in early American life from a boy's eyes and applied muscle would enjoy this book. My only regret I wish it was longer.

From the basics to the complex
This book is by far one of the finest examples of the art and science of blacksmithing.
The author introduces you to the basic equipment then leads you onto some simple exercises.. As the chapters move on you are introduced to more challenges and if you chose you can evolve yourself into an accomplished smith.
The recent events with TV shows like "Forged In Fire" this book would be the aliment for the path leading down to to a satisfying hobby or career of blacksmithing.

Boker red lockblade
Excellent all around the farm knife. In the event you lay it on the ground or work place it is very easy to locate due to the bright red color. Very east to deploy and sharpen holding a keen edge. I really enjoy this knife, I also purchased one for my grandson!
