Save your money...
0 of 1 found this helpful Looks like pages copied from a book, not as many plans as claimed, very few actually have any type of instruction to them, and unless you read and speak Italian, Russian, and Greek (?) they won't do you any good any way...Very few in english and most are just cutaway pictures. Better off just buying a book.

Total waste of money
0 of 1 found this helpful Would only work when switch was in "full speed" position. Why the hell do you need this if you intend to run in full speed all the time? When in variable speed mode, it won't control motor below high speed position, then the motor "pulses"and won't run smoothly. Don't waste your money on this piece of garbage! After trying on a couple other motors with the same results, it went straight in the trash. And yes,, they were brushed motors.

No more rental units required...
9 of 9 found this helpful Originally bought this unit for pet stains and such. When it arrived, I found it pretty easy to assemble. I mixed the recommended portions of cleaner to hot water, and started in on the stained area. It had cleaned that area so well that I could see where I had stopped. So let's just do a bit more... before I realized it I had done the hallway, dining room and living room and what a difference it made! The carpet takes just abit longer to dry, and it really goes through the cleaning mixture when deep clean is selected, but that's not a complaint, just an fyi. I usually rent a "professional cleaner" approximately every 3 months... this unit cleaned far better then the rental. My wife even commented on not only how good the carpet look, but how much softer it felt on bare feet. Just one other thing, I sometimes go back over the carpet with just water to rinse it and it does seem to help.
