A very good Mitchum film in my opinion!
1 of 1 found this helpful It's not better than I expected but it's still a good film! I first saw this as a child about 10-12 so my memory is not as good as it was. I like Robert Mitchum films. It's a different Western! I don't want to give away the plot so I won't say more.

I never did understand the title! It must have some special meaning in Australia.
It's in a time (1920) when life was not so fast paced as today and moral values were higher than today!
Horse and wagon speed I would say. It helps that all the actors are known except the boy and they perform so well.
