COOMODEL'S 16 SCALE KNIGHT DU TEMPLE
This product is good. durable. attaching the armor can be tricky. The leather straps and belts are real leather . The pants and jacket are a great design and made very well. The boots are one of the highlights of this model. They are some of the nicest boots in 1/6 scaling . The helmet is my opinion is a crap design , but it is metal. All the armor is metal as well. what ever finish ,paint job, they put on the armor makes it look very un realistic . but if your a modeler you can re paint it and weather it . The hand sculpts are great . I like all of them. The head sculpt makes me laugh. In person it definitely looks different then advertised . The head on the box has a totally different hair cut. He has very poofy, swooping hair . The hair also appears as if it wood get in his eyes, which I believe any one who was a true warrior would not have hair as such. just a opinion though . the paint job of the head is really good though . that aspect is very good. The sword is absurd. the handle and cross guard are massive . if it were 1/1 scale the handle would be as round as a adults forearm. which makes it hard to fit in the hands. its just a bad design . The pommel is obstruct as well and whatever jem is supposed to be on it looks very crude . The finish of the blade is the same finish that is on the armor.which makes the sword looks like crap. the sheath is crap too. Looks like a toy . The dagger is a good design and good size. dont care for the sheath, once again just looks like a toy . Over all I planned on getting this figure to re-work ,turn into someone different which the price i paid its great for that. Over all if your 1/6 scale modeler I would say yes its great for a kit bash . But if your hoping this will be a great display piece "as is " ; I would say no. As a toy, no, not a toy. Its meant for display only .
