Great if you dont wear eye protection or glasses at all, otherwise you wont get the full NRR due to breaking the seal
Get the special $40 gel earcups for these things. They make provision for glasses. The issue with all ear protection that goes over the ear is glasses. And as we know, smart shooters use eye protection. I have to use eye protection and Rx glasses. I was using Surefire earbud style ear protection but I'm just tired of sticking them in my ears, honestly and wanted the electronic stuff so I wasn't shouting conversations.
Until I get the overpriced earcups, I have to use foamies under them in order to keep those ARs at bay.

Great if you use the Group Gripper and/or hotter loads.
No cons, except that you'll really want to use a bushing tool/wrench like the Real Avid 1911 bushing wrench if you go with a heavy spring like this.
That out of the way, I installed this to compete with my Wilson Combat Group Gripper guide rod as that was pushing the slide slightly back (out of battery), so it suggested I get a stronger recoil spring to push the slide forward more. In my case, it didn't completely get the slide flush on the back, still has a couple millimeters left, but definitely helps. I had no issues cycling Aguila 230gr FMJ's. It's only 2lb more than stock, but does feel like a bit more than that when you rack the slide or remove the barrel bushing, so definitely get that bushing wrench. I might even go up to a 20lb if I can find one for the Gov't with some hotter loads to get the slide to fully seat.

Don't buy F.E.A.R 2 if you don't like amazing games.
3 of 3 found this helpful I played through the first F.E.A.R. and if you have too, you know it's an awesome game that gets you on the edge of your seat the entire time.
F.E.A.R. 2 : Project Origin, same deal, except now we have new goodies:
-Aim down the actual sights as opposed to just zooming in the screen (finally)
-Blur/Depth of Field perspective
-New weapons
-New enemies, which are still very smart
-The gore got gorier. Ex. On occasion, when an enemy is blown to bits, he may be squeezing the trigger and yes the gun will continue to fire even if the enemy is down and his arm is not attached.
-Alma's Origin, very gripping story. You'll get freaked again...and again.
This game has been perfected. It's a conglomeration of (I'd say) Call of Duty 4/5 graphics/gameplay and Gears of War's gore, with slow mo physics like Max Payne.
Overall a great game, if you can handle being freaked out while playing it.
P.S. either a warning or advisement, play it after 10pm with no one around and the lights off, to achieve the effect the developers wanted. hehe.
