Best laptop I owned
2 of 2 found this helpful I have had a few laptops that had amazing hardware, like Lenovos and Dells, but would work slowly. With UX305 you get a very well built laptop.
This laptop can be easily used outdoors with direct sunlight on the screen. It's completely silent but amazingly remains cooler than any of my other laptops. The 13,3" sounds smaller, but honestly I don't feel the difference to 15,6". The smaller laptop is easier to carry, lightweight and more comfortable to use. The best feature of this laptop, beside the speed and looks, is the QHD+ screen. The sharp and crisp display is such a breath of fresh air, that I will not settle for anything else from now on. The downside to a QHD is that, unfortunately, a lot of software does not support (not adjusted) to QHD and some of the menus (in programs like Bulldog antivirus) look tiny and hard to read... But hopefully the software will catch up to these displays and all will be better. The battery can last for long stretches of time and as a secondary workplace laptop it lasts me for 3-4 days. For normal, internet surfing, youtube watching and multitasking use it lasts for about 6 hours.
To sum up this is the best laptop I ever used.
