This bass is a beast!
1 of 1 found this helpful Makes the SDG series look small! I've never heard a bass with this much tonal variety from smooth jazz tones to in your face punk and metal, awesome with distortion as well. Clear and punchy even with stock pickups, has a thicker wider neck than the SDG series, I have medium sized hands and can get around the fretboard fine but smaller hands might have some difficulty. Heavier on the shoulders than the SDG series as well.

Intensely powerfull, excellent tone variation
1 of 1 found this helpful To sum it all up: incredible bass for the money. the coil tapping is a killer feature, being able to change sound on the fly to mix with different styles is key if that's what you do. I play everything from Christian contemporary to metal and this bass covers it all. Set the neck right and it's very comfortable for many hours of playing for a 6 string. I recommend this bass for any style of music. Highly recommended!

One of the best
Awesome tone, great feel, plays like butter, there aren't many 7 strings like this. The Dimarzio's are fantastic, one of the best Passive stock pickups on the market. No need for upgrades unless you want to install actives.
