BROKEN CD PLAYER

I have had this for a month. At first thd cd player worked great. Sound was good, now I don't get any sound. I just used it yesterday and it worked. I used it around a dozen times. Now when i put a cd in the machine it makes a funny sound and it won't start. The only thing that shows up is on tiny letters is "hold". I want this taken care of it. It was brand new. I have not commicated to EBAY because i thought we could fix this. I have never talked to Ebay because i never had anything be broken. If you look at my feedback I have.
