B&LE locomotive
This is a new in the box, sealed item. Hopefully, the reason it will not run is an easy problem to fix, some sort of short or loose wire. I will take it to my engine guy. He got my 50 yr old Mantua B%O running again.

I don't know the exact reason why, but this loco wrecks every time it goes over a grade crossing, switch, or cross track. It could be an assembly problem or design issue. The front "bumper" and brake hose on the coupler ride low enough that they catch on the aforementioned track sections. Very frustrating for "new" equipment. I bought another B&LE loco last fall and still can't get it to run right. Perhaps a little tinkering and adjusting.
