Does not work on a 3-pronged American plug.
I got this specifically to use with the plug for my laptop computer. When it came, it said it was for computers. I should have tried it before I left, but trusted it would work. When I got to Denmark and tried to use it, it would not work and I had to find a converter in Denmark that would work. I was not happy.
