Solid reel
1 of 1 found this helpful This is my second Battle 6000. This reel is my workhorse for both Jersey shore and Florida east coast fishing. It works very smoothly and has plenty of power to handle hard running fish. It is a little on the bulky side but for my purposes that is not a real concern. Not the setup that I would take on long beach walks in search of fish,but when slinging bait or tossing large plugs at inlets or jettys it's perfect. Price makes it a deal all around.
