Zipper is sucking the fabric

I bought this for my daughter and she used it only for couple of weeks now and the zipper pulled over the fabric and got stuck. I had to help to get the zipper off the the fabric. Otherwise this backpack is right size (not too big) for a high school er who tends to overload the bag with stuff.
