Comprehensive overview of the Boz
3 of 3 found this helpful I'm certainly no Boz Scaggs buff, just a casual fan who had previously been familiar with at least 10 or more of his hits. Spanning from the late 60s to recent years, these 2 discs give a wide overview of his body of work. For those who don't really care about his bluesy beginnings--or the material after his popularity dried up--there are plenty of hits before and after he reached his pinnacle of success with the Silk Degrees album. From the super-slick "Lowdown" and "JoJo," to ballads like "Look What You Done to Me" and "We're All Alone," to old-timey sing-alongs like "What Can I Say?" and "It's Over," even the casual Boz Scaggs sympathizer will have plenty to enjoy for the price.
