Replacement for same model unit
2 of 2 found this helpful This was a replacement for a previously purchased (same model) ereader . Had looked over the ereaders available, but wife (who is the "avid" reader) is very familiar how this model works and it was easy enough to just load her books back on this one and go. The reader was pretty much as described (box was not sealed), but it fired up and could tell it was new from process. These are nice small ereaders that allow for the flexibility of side-loading books from various sources (we'd go broke if she bought every book). Slide power on/off button went wonky on old model after aro. 5 years of constant use (didn't actually die, but was getting very difficult to turn on/off. Let's hope this one doesn't suffer the same fate (odd failure if you ask me). Find this Sony ereader outstanding unit - too bad they stopped making them.

1 of 1 found this helpful Remote is just like the other replacements we've bought - works well with our Roamio. Peanut works with either our Premiere (previous unit) or Roamio, although the Roamio remote is physically smaller and button locations somewhat different. Wish Tivo's "skip" feature was available on all recordings and remote's button tops info was indented (wears off) - would save on remotes and our aggravation. Wouldn't hurt to have them redesigned flatter for stability either. Are you listening Tivo?..........
