They work amazing for hard steel. Only thing I've found to drill out a roll pin
I have not had to use mine yet but I got into a bind at work while rebuilding a cat 938G axle assembly and had to either cut the planetary carrier apart to save a gear or drill out a roll pin.....spring steel. Even my snap on drill bits wouldn't scratch it. Guy I work with has one of these so I tried it. Took a while but it drilled the roll pin out without hurting the bit at all! Had to buy one after that
