Would have spent twice as much...
4 of 4 found this helpful The Mini 6J9 is small in size but not in sound! The sound QUALITY is superb as well. Can't imagine why I didn't buy a similar one for $100..would have been worth it. Use it currently with planar headphones and high ohm 600 series headphones. Superb product, great price!

Great fast performance, excellent quality
1 of 1 found this helpful Know I have limited space. This drive comes with "extra" tiny programs that allow them to go to sleep after your set period of time. They also include "test" programs, etc. should you need to run them through their paces... Have 4 other WD 1 and 1.5 terabyte drives and they all perform flawlessly, silently, effortlessly. I guess the passport series is somehow different from the other models but they have all been great. The 1.5 and 2 terrabyte units are about 1/2 again taller than the 1 terabyte units (didn't measure but there is a difference) but still pretty pocket sized. Over the last 5 years I have never been anything but impressed with WD!

Superb Drive, $70 savings.
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a great unit. It features tne newest advanced WD technology. I am using 2 of these to replace two Seagate Drives that died during their first 6 months of use.
This is a wonderful drive with extras like password security (should you wish it), automatic back-up at intervals you set if you wish, "sleep mode" if not used for a certain length of time. Comes with these premium software features exclusively should you wish to use it. I keep all my information/ music/ other files on portable drives anyway so everything goes there as soon as it has been virus/malware tested. Do really liked "sleep" feature, however.
I have other WD drives, two 4 terabyte and a number of one and two terabyte units (9 in all). This was a champion deal because it was $70 less than the current December asking price of $200 which I would pay for this unit. Has 3 year warrantee, is very compact, feels well built -not flimsy feeling. Definitely a 5 Star product and deal!
