Excellent value, numerous and durable discs, plus a backup mandrel
These fiberglass-reinforced cutoff discs are more robust and last longer and are of a larger diameter than the brittle resin cutoff discs (which are usually 20mm in diameter). These are ideal for relatively fine detail work in metalworking, and for a user with steadied hands, they can cut good and narrow slots... such as for cutting a slot in a broken bolt so that you can remove the bolt with a flat-head screwdriver. That's a lot easier and faster than drilling a hole in the bolt for an screw extractor. I use them in both a Foredom flex-shaft grinder's handpiece and a Dremel rotary tool, and occasionally in a drill press.
This set's price was outstandingly inexpensive, and since it contained 25 cutoff discs, they should last me good period of time. The very small retaining screw for the mandrel sometimes gets lost, and since it is so small and fine, you'll not find a replacement at a fastener specialty store. This kit included a second mandrel, which is a great idea to help you avoid stopping work if one of those "Oops" moments occurs.

Clean cutters
I already had a set of the cylinder-type plug cutters. Every time I used them, the large portions of the cutter's remaining cylinder walls created a lot of friction, heated up, and burned the edges of the plug and hole. It's no fun to sand the edges of a small plug in the first place, but it also reduces the plug's diameter causing a poor loose fit. It's worse yet to see that your plug cutter is now colored blue and brown where the heat has undone the factory tempering used to harden the steel they are made of.
So, I tried this set. The "fangs" of these plug cutters cut much cleaner and faster. Since there is dramatically less cutter surface area to rub against the sides of the plug or the hole, these cutters do not 1) heat up, and/or 2) burn the wood or 3) try to shorten their own life. Get a set and see for yourself!

DREMEL EZ402 - EZ LOCK MANDREL
These were a great value. A single Dremel EZ Lock mandrel at a hardware store will cost between $8 to $12. These make changing many rotary tool bits about as quick and easy as changing a hex bit in a hex adapter. Not all Dremel tool workpieces are adaptable to the EZ Lock mandrel, but many grinding and cutoff wheels, and abrasive buffing wheels are (and both of which I use about 50% of the time).
