2 of 2 found this helpful The product (as well as Nupercaine) has changed the formula removing the lanolin base, and therefore does not absorb very well - The petroleum jelly is too heavy to be absorbent. I have use the lanolin based product for many years with good results for nerve pain in my feet, but this is a miserable disappointment.
