Refill Ink Costs more than a brand new printer!
4 of 6 found this helpful I am VERY disappointed in my Canon Printer, this is my second Canon Printer in a row, and I will NEVER purchase another canon product! even though my printer prints very well, it consumes way too much ink! I only printed about 20-30 pages and the ink runs empty! I bought one printer brand new fot $18.00 and another for $25.00, and the refill ink costs more than a brand new printer! this is clearly crooked as hell and is stealing money from my pocket! I tried on my first printer a refill kit, and the printer cartridge has a chip that shuts down the printer if refilled! this is crooked forcing consumers to buy proprietary cartridges that only print around 20 pages! I run a very small business making pin backed buttons, and the ink cost is killing me! sometimes it is CHEAPER to buy a brand new printer, than to buy refill ink! No wonder our planet is being ruined! perfectly good printers end up in a landfill, instead of being used, because a new printer is cheaper than the damn ink! from this point on, I vow to BOYCOTT ALL Canon Products!
