Entex Model Kit Display Case for 1/16 scale models
While one can put two smaller scale models in these cases, it is best used for 1/16th scale, or smaller 1/12 scale models. The only downside of the cases is that they can be easily broken, either during assembly or display if they are dropped. The upside is that they keep dust and dirt off of a model(s), which is a real plus when you want to display your creation, without having to dust it, which may result in the loss of small parts over time if it is being cleaned by a novice. Grease from cooking can be really hard to remove from a model left in the open. Entex is no longer in business and kits are few in number. As for the display itself, tie the model(s) down so that movement won't force them out of position. It is best to use black non-reflective fine wire, drill holes in the base to pass the wire through and twist them under the base of the display case. Two wheels should be sufficient for tying each model down. Wiring the undercarriage may show. Most models require a great deal of effort, so use display cases. The Entex case is really designed for taller, read antique, car models. For 1/18, 1/24 die cast and airplane models, shorter cases are available at many shops and on ebay.

Good quality and perfect for my application on a 1/8 1934 Ford Racer. As with all decals, care must be taken to remove them. Decal applicator solution is recommended, if decals do not have adhesive on the back.

A necessary source of information on wooden ship modeling and maritime history.
There are few books out there to guide the wooden ship modeler. This is one of them and in conjunction with other works, can guide in making a model, from scratch, or from a kit. Thus, this is an excellent addition to the library not only for the modeler, but also understanding the history of wooden ship construction in general.
