For those who want all the light

If you can find a ballast for these lamps without paying a kings ransom, then I would highly recommend these lamps. They look great warming up, and once they are lit you get a wonderful monochrome yellow. The only brighter lamp out there is the 131W SOX-E lamp (when run on a 180W ballast), but I would argue 32,000 Lumens is ample, and those lamps tend to be even more expensive.

Solid yet cheap

As far as I can tell as of some use, these adapters seem to get a great connection and have no issues with any 1/4 in jacks I have encountered. I am using these to listen to an old reel to reel tape system, and these work with the audio amp just fine.

Solid socket, a bit stiff initially, but holds lamp well.

I am using this for a 90W SOX lamp, and it has been working fine, I guess you have to make sure you do not drop it, but what can you expect it is ceramic.... good product.
