Speedway 91015703 180 Degree High Flow Thermostat, Robertshaw Style
    Jan 11, 2016
Would not recommend this for a daily driver.
Installed in a mild built 355 ci chevy, EX268H cam, 10:1 compression with aluminum heads and 2.02 intake valves and 1.60 exhaust valves, TBI, this thermostat would never allow my engine to warm up and the more I drove it the colder it got with temps reaching all the way down to 155 degrees. After this, I purchased the Robertshaw 180 without the holes and I had the same problem. After two tries with this style of thermostat, I went with a $6.50 Stant 45358 180f Superstat and could not be happier. Engine now warms up in just 5 minutes and maintains temp. Guess you don't always get what you pay for.

    Super bright!
My 1976 corvette console instrument lighting would not illuminate the instrument face no matter what bulb or led I tried till this one. Very impressed and would highly recommend if you need an led bulb that is brighter then all the rest.

These must be for full out race
Because of the modification to these thermostats, they flow a good portion water at start up. My Sbc with 10:1 compression, aluminum heads and intake, along with a xe268 camshaft and hi volume water pump, my engine could not reach operating temp, and the more I drove it, the colder it got. I sent it back.
