Powerful and gripping - 5/5
1 of 1 found this helpful Ignore the last two TV episodes of NGE, this is how it was supposed to end. The animation is excellent, in places better than the original series. It wraps up the NGE story perfectly with a conclusion that hits you hard and stays with you for days. I'd highly recommend it for anyone who has watched the first 26 episodes of NGE.

Good inexpensive light. Not perfect but good.
Fit well on a 2011 Ram. Connector plugged right in. Comes with the required foam rubber gasket to make it watertight. Fit isn't perfect but very close and looks fine.
The white cargo lamp LEDs are nice and bright but don't angle down to illuminate the bed very well. Still look nice. Red brake light LEDs are adequately bright, not dazzling but good visibility and come on instantly.
The only real issue I found is a well known one; the white cargo LEDs stay dimly lit any time the truck is running and about 30-45 seconds after it is shut off. I've read you can add an inline resistor to avoid this, but would be nice if that was built in. They won't kill the battery and the unit works fine, just a minor annoyance that they stay on.

Decent replacement for general use.

They are a direct fit and don't require any modification. I have heard of them needing the connector filed down to fit, but mine appeared to already be filed down and all fit well. All 5 worked fine on arrival.
The sensitivity is a bit high but that's partly the higher tension spring. I tried installing the old springs, but they don't fit right. Takes some getting used to. For racing games requiring precise steering, these don't seem ideal as it's very hard to be accurate. For Smash and other games, they work fine. They seem to have proper range in all directions.
I'd recommend disassembling them and adding a lubricant to the moving parts. I used Tamiya Ceramic grease.
