Perfect camera, for beginners and professionals alike.
1 of 1 found this helpful By no means am I professional, As a matter of fact the D70 is the first DSLR I have ever owned.
That being said, I can't compare this to other cameras. But I can review this one. I must say, this camera is a beast! It is really solid, making it a bit heavy, but I am not worried about it breaking if it were to be dropped. For being as old as it is, there is next to no wear. The rubber isn't sticky or broken down, and the it still has a nice texture. Holding it feels.. Good. Right. Perfect.
It is a little big compared to today's DSLRs, but that shouldn't be an issue for most people. Its not "huge" but it does add bulk. Aside from the size, the only issue I would say is that it does not have live view. The viewfinder works like a charm, but having live view would be nice.
Picture quality is absolutely beautiful. Like most, if not all, DSLR cameras, all the settings are changeable to your needs. Auto mode is good when your just learning the camera, but setting it to manual allows total control. I currently use a newer 18 - 55mm Lens (Impressive, no? The lens is many years newer then the camera, yet it works with no issues)
I would HIGHLY recommend this camera to anyone getting into photography. Amateur or professional, this camera will serve you a for a very long time.
I happened to snag one for only $50, and it only has a shutter count of 6,000. Am I happy? Absolutely.

Works as intended
Not much to say. It's a power cable. Very well built, solid and high quality. Works flawlessly with an Asus VH238H monitor.
