Great little navigator
Works as well as other more expensive GPS units I've used. User friendly. Have not even needed to refer to the manual. Nice bright screen and sound is comparable to other units I've used.

Works as it should
They used an old chipset for the USB to TTL conversion that is not supported by any version of windows after Windows 7. So you will need to get online and download an older driver version, but once you find a driver that recognizes the hardware the cable works as it should.

Nice gain antenna
1 of 1 found this helpful This antenna stays in place even when traveling down the interstate in the presence of semi-trucks. SWR was good across both bands right out of the package, but received signals were lower compared with signals from a 1/4 wave antenna I had been using. I used emory cloth to clean the black paint from all connection points on the antenna and received signals were drastically improved. Overall it seems to be a good value for the money.
