"Iffy at best"
0 of 1 found this helpful The first problem you'll have with these cartridges is getting your machine to accept them. Error messages pop up immediately that the level of ink is unknown. I have to play around with telling the fax the "new" cartridge is "new" or "used" depending upon which day of the week it is. Ultimately, I win and fool the machine, although a few times I have failed.
Then, its anybody's guess whether there will be a full compliment of ink in the cartridge. I've had some that went a surprisingly long time before needing replacing, others quit much sooner. I like to refill cartridges from a large bottle of HP ink I bought. New cartridges will take a refill at least once, maybe twice. These cartridges "might" let you refill them once, but then they leak and make a big mess of any copies.
HP gets you coming and going. Buy these cartridges and expect a hassle and mixed results. Buy new ones and get ripped off.
