    Robinson Racing 17 Tooth 48 Pitch Pinion Gear RRP1017

    Buy The Best - Forget The Rest
    I've been using RRP pinion gears for several years now. Gears purchased several years ago are still going strong today. Work well with stock Traxxas spur gears, no excessive / unusual wear to either the spur or the pinion. Not much else to say, it's a gear & it works well.

    Three For Price of One
    VERY HAPPY with my purchase!! Have a blue V-tech - Google 6919 / 6919-15 / 6916-16 - EBay would not allow me to include links in this review. WalMart sells replacement batts for $14.49USD EACH - got 3 of these upgrade batts for $13.99 w/ship. I conditioned them (complete discharge & charge twice) out of the package. Now I can leave the phone off the charger for just shy of TWO WEEKS - that includes standby & numerous calls, some lasting upwards of 30mins. Original batt was good for 3~4days MAX & usually went dead when needed most. Don't worry if your phone is not on the sellers list (mine is not); look at the batt in your phone, if it has EITHER of these numbers: BT162342 / BT262342 on it, then you can use these batts. My [old] batt reads: BT162342 / BT262342 (2.4v 300mAh Ni-MH) - I think the "BT" numbers are for pack size / type of connector. So long as your original battery has either one of them, these should work for you. The numbers in parentheses are what matters most. 2.4v = voltage, 300mAh is the capacity, Ni-MH is the battery's chemistry - Ni-MH = Nickel Metal Hydride. Voltage is a must, if your battery is 2.4v that is what you MUST use, substitutions WILL result in failure. ALWAYS use a battery with the same voltage as the original. mAH = Milli Amp Hours - more is better. These 600mAh upgrade batteries will [technically] last twice as long as the 300mAh original batt; for me, it has been more than 3-times the life of the original. Chemistry - first rechargeable's were Ni-CD = Nickel Cadmium. They had serious memory issues, loose there charge quickly, relatively short shelf life of a charged battery, and so on. Nickel Metal Hydride(Ni-MH) replaced Ni-CD's - they have little to no memory effect, deliver consistent current / voltage for FAR longer than Ni-CD's, and best of all, have a [fully charged battery] shelf life of up too a year. If your phone has a Ni-CD battery, you can safely replace it with a Ni-MH battery & realize a significant improvement in your phone's performance - range, talk time, time off the charger (standby), and so on. There are cheaper replacement batts on EBay, but many don’t list the voltage or mAh rating. You get what you pay for. Sure glad I paid a little extra $$ and bought these. Hope this review helps people make a wise purchasing decision. FWIW: I’m an avid radio control model hobbyist with 5 [Traxxas] trucks, 5 fast electric boats + 3-heli’s; knowledge of the above info is a must.

    RPM Traxxas VXL Stampede/Rustler/Slash Blue Gear Cover

    RPM = Great Quality
    I use use these gear covers because... A. they're molded from a thicker, better, more durable plastic than the stock gear covers. B. As the seller correctly states: "It's completely sealed. Stock gear covers have a large, open gap between the spur gear and the out-drive that allows gear destroying dirt to enter". Two very good reasons to spend less than $5 on an upgrade part.
