Patience is a virtue
I spent about 5 hours removing the original cover and replacing it with the 3rd party product. This was not what I had in mind when I ordered it. However, I finally secured the new cover and it looks good and works well. If you plan on buying one, be prepared to spend a long evening with pliers, drill., knife and anything it takes to get the job done...Good luck!

outshines the competition
the metabones adapter was the only of the three I tried that worked sufficiently enough to keep. I was pretty dismayed at the quality of the adapters available however, the metabones far outshines the competition! ultimately, it's the only adapter that has any value whatsoever that I can recommend to any photographer! It's a difficult challenge for a third party company to keep up with all the changes in camera technology. Metabones is doing quite well.

great focal range for aps-c sensor camera
4 of 4 found this helpful I am still determining the best focal length of this lens, but so far I like it a lot. The SSM autofocus rocks! Immediate and silent! Like most lenses mounted on good cameras, good light on the subject is imperative for good image quality. Not quite G series quality but better than average. So, yes, I can recommend it without hesitation. Good work Sony :+)
