As good as it looks.
2 of 2 found this helpful I had my doubts initially. I've bought inexpensive dog crates that wouldn't contain the dog and with doors that are difficult to latch. This unit is a pleasant surprise, easy to assemble and tough enough to hold your pet, stays rigid and the doors work easily. My kittens aren't ready for it yet because there is a space above the tray that would allow them to exit as they are small, but that would not be a problem for a larger animal. I wouldn't recommend full-time occupancy for any pet, it isn't exactly huge, but overall it's a great value. Save the photos! There is no slip of paper within or outside the box that has any picture or instructions of any kind.

Great idea but keeps birds away.
Works very well catching birdseed that might have been wasted, but after a week of use the birds mostly still fear it. I wasn't trying to save birdseed by scaring the birds away; and they certainly don't eat it out of the catcher.
