Not for low beds
This works well and does what I needed. The problem is that my bed is low to the floor because of mattress, box springs, and topper and the height I needed to get on the bed. The handle could not be adjusted low enough for my situation and had to be cut off and adapted. Other than that it would have been easy to install. Luckily I have a family member who could do this.

How it works for me
It works well for my multi-position recliner. It does not work well for my desk chair and my spinal stenosis. It is too hard and puts pressure on my tail bone.
