Happy with the Split
2 of 2 found this helpful The unit is relatively easy to install if you own some basic tools. You will need to find a tubing bender, vacuum pump and for R410a gauges you need a 1/4" to 5/16" adapter. I built my own adapter. The unit is very quiet. We run it at night in our bedroom to keep the central unit off as much as possible. I really need to get my next electric bill to find out how well the overall idea works out. So far we are happy with the unit.
