Reasonably priced, simple and effective.
In some states in Australia you are required to have a 'H' pattern visible on the shifter knob or visible plate near the gear shifter. This is an inexpensive solution and looks quite nice too. It's simple, it serves it's purpose and the in most models there is a space where it appears it belonged all along.

Dyson V8 was running on 2 cylinders, new battery did the trick!
Our Dyson V8 started to not last more than 12-15 min on the lower suction setting and around 2 min on high and further, the suction was very poor. After cleaning all the filters and it remained the same we thought it's either the motor or battery that's failing. Trying the battery was the cheaper of the options and easy enough to DIY. The results so far are amazing. It looks the same as the Dyson part but half the price and now lasts beyond our expectations. The performance has gone back to being like new. This has been a very inexpensive solution and couldn't be happier with the results.
