Keeps Peace In The House
1 of 1 found this helpful They should sell one of these with every new high gain amp sold, you can choke down the loud without losing the tone. Same product from the online music supply houses will run you twice the price.

Battery Eater
3 of 3 found this helpful I have Midland radios so I decided to go with one for the car it has some nice features my biggest issue is you have to have a second job to keep the thing in batteries. Would I buy it again? Most likely I would pass on this model then do more research and find one better on batteries and can only give this one a C grade. I was easy to set up and sounded decent while working but too many times the battery was toasted when pulled out for no reason as it had no useage on it.

Great tough little phone!
What can I say it's the third of this model I've bought now everyone in my family has one. I started buying LG phones when Verizon started selling them and each one has been an improvement and the 8300 is at the top of the ladder. It's simply a bullet proof phone as hard as I've used mine it simply refuses to break. It shares the same batteries (although a different rear battery door) as the model that preceded it's release as well as car charger and other accessories like chargers etc so if you had LG phones you might save some money. It's not the state of the art 3 or 4 G models but for those who just want to make a call and have a few extra things it's perfect. Some of these phone makers today forget not everyone needs a phone that tells you when to blow your nose or where to eat.
