Perfect Digital Multimeter Case
If you want to protect your DMM and an assortment of test leads, this is the case for you.
It's not uncomfortably hard, it's very flexible and is made out of some synthetic material that feels like cordura; a little rough and tough, but still soft.
If you have a DMM, you definitely don't want to drop it; this case will protect you from most falls.
I recommend it highly.

Great 5-in-1 Digital Multimeter
Why spend $8 less and get a meter without built-in humidity, temperature, lux (light level) and noise (dB) detectors when you could have it all for just a few dollars more than a plain DMM.
I highly recommend this meter, it's very accurate, has a replaceable fuse for protection, and has the environmental sensors you'd have to carry separately.
It comes with a pair of razor sharp leads and a thermoprobe. The banana ports light up to show you where the red lead should be plugged in depending on what setting you have the meter on. Pretty nifty; it even buzzes when you have the leads in the wrong port!
I can't emphasize how much of value this meter is. Even the screws have metal inserts in the case so you won't strip the plastic!
I would have given 5 stars if the temperature and humidity readings refreshed a little quicker.

Doesn't show Fahrenheit, only Celsius
There's no way to switch to Fahrenheit, you have to convert the displayed temperature from celsius to Fahrenheit yourself.
The MS8229 is only slightly more, but you get a C/F button to switch back and forth at will. Also the case is much thicker and is the size of a normal DMM.
