Better than the book.
2 of 2 found this helpful Being a Merchant and Ivory fan, I knew this genre would not disappoint. But I didn't expect it to be as good as it was. The scenery was magnificent. The story was plausible. The actors were believable. And it didn't hurt that they were all good looking. I loved the independence of the heroine, and I similarly loved the strength and pride of her hero. I'm not a movie reviewer, but I watch a lot of movies and though I've owned this for less than two weeks, I've watched it three times, each time seeing or hearing something I missed before.
I look forward to the next time I curl up on the couch while it's snowing, and revisit that spectacular galloping horse scene as she wraps her arms around his waist, holding on for dear life. OMG!

Felting has come a long way since this book was written, Save your money.
1 of 1 found this helpful I purchased this book because of the cover photo of an unusual tea cozy. Unfortunately this item is the only one in the book that was even worth a look-see. This is a book of fundamentals, and felting has come a long way since 2005. There are many, many other publications (and free information on the Internet) that deal not just with this level of felting, but more progressive, innovative, and fun ways to felt and make interesting crafts. I was surprised at the size of the book; a mere 5.5 inches by 7.25 inches, but I guess that is where they get the on the go in the title. You can certain carry this in your jacket pocket. If you are a beginner, you might like this book, but I am not, so I did not care much for it.
