Solid Wood Construction
Units are sturdy after being built, examining the grain on the cuts of the wood shows solid wood instead of particle board. The two thin wood bars between the legs feel a bit flimsy while drilling the screws in to secure them to the legs, no pre-drilled holes to drive the large thread screws into when binding the 2 bars to the legs, the screws bored into the wood without splitting the legs.
Only one of the bolts had to have its bolt hole re-threaded and the bolt tapped, since the bolt wouldn't enter the bad threads in the bolt hole.
The units are pretty comfy and sturdy, lets see how long they fare against 4 children.
