An Oldie but Goodie for 1080 video.
This is not the newest or the best camera. It does work extremely well. I shoot a lot of video, and was in need of a device that was "set it, and forget it. Unlike my other Dslrs from canon and nikon it doesn't have a set limit as to how long it can run, as long as the battery and memory card holds out it continues to run. It does have advantages over the dslrs with an electronic viewer, not just on the back screen. It has a lot better picture than the camcorders it replaced, in addition to interchangeable lenses, and frame rates that can be set from 60 to 24 fps, and other options.

Great for what it is...
I have had limited time to use this. It isn't a five hundred dollar tripod, and not built to handle a super heavy load, but for what it is it is superb and zip think it is what I needed. I'm considering another for the big video shoots.
