I would have changed the title, it grates on me. What does hi-lo mean? Hey, it was Max Evans' novel, and he got to choose it.
As a New Mexican, I enjoyed seeing familiar Western scenery. Sam Elliot and Woody Harrelson are fine actors, I had the pleasure of working crew in two of their other films.
There's some violence in the script, but welcome to the West. Overall, a fine film that somehow fell through the cracks and never found a large audience. It's the only film that likely ever shot a couple scenes in remote Kim in SE Colorado (the little town with three tall grain elevators).
I though it was very authentic as a period film, even the c & w music was from a lost era, and Don Walker was somehow a surprise in that I really liked his singing voice in the dance scene.

Haynes Auto Repair Manuals: No regrets
I've used Haynes Manuals for a long time. They combine text and data from factory shop manuals with a teardown by a tech with photos. You actually will get more useful info from Haynes than the factory manual. In this one, for 1990's Ford Escorts, it contains the trouble codes for diagnosing the onboard sensors, which I don't find in the factory manual.
A good value for amateur and professional techs.
