Can't be beat for optical viewfinder on a point and shoot.
I previously had a SD1000 years ago that I lost. It was my favorite camera. I especially liked the viewfinder and the color accent mode. You can turn off the lcd to save battery and use the optical viewfinder. Neither of these features are offered on newer models, and this product the 1100is is the last model to include both. As such, it is an upgrade, yet it performs and feels just like my old camera. Very happy with it.
it is a great size, and takes nice picture. Easy to use. A little slow compared to an slr or a smartphone, but it works great.
