Best fit for the R1
I stopped using dark screens as I actually spend enough time tucked that I need a clear shield now. This one is pretty thick gauge material, which is good as where I live the roads are known to have decent size rocks on them. I actually have to run a radiator guard otherwise my radiator won't last, there are that many rocks.
My last shield was a Zero Gravity, and was replaced after the sixth crack from rocks. So far, this one has held up perfectly. It has some dings from some of the larger rocks, but no cracks. I like the seamless curvature as well, seems to have helped with the air flow thought I could just be imagining that.

Usual high quality from Hogue
5 of 5 found this helpful Hogue makes great grips, I have them on several of my handguns and they are always a great fit.
That said, the installation of these grips on the Taurus was not as straight ahead as on my S&Ws or my Rugers. But, Taurus is a less common brand and not every included instruction can address every model of revolver. The trick to getting these on your Taurus is to remove the existing pin in the butt of the revolver, and do not try to use it to secure the new grip. Instead, on the butt of your revolver, you will see a large cut out circle, you'll want to place the provided hardware so that is it pinned into this large cut out. It will float around considerably. Also provided is a rubber spacer, this goes between the bottom of the butt and the nut for the screw. Once in that position, use the guides in the grip "channel" the provided hardware down into the grip. You may have to tap the grip into it's final position and then insert the screw and tighten. Do not over tighten otherwise your grip may "bow" out on either side.

They worked perfectly!
They did what they were supposed to do. Easy to install. REMEMBER: the right hand mirror is REVERSE thread; lefty tighty righty loosely!
