More tone than you'll need
I bought this amp and I'm still amazed at all the tonal options. Channel 1 has, possibly, too much gain for a clean channel but a little manipulation of your Guitar's volume control will give you sparkling fender twin cleans to cranked hiwatt distortion.
Channel 2 is a classic rock to heavy metal channel. It pretty much covers all the David Lee Roth era tones and a little more. With a little twerk of the knobs and you're shredding with the best of them. All the gain doesn't diminish the clarity either.
Channel 3... well let's just say it's pure metal. From the heaviest to heavier, this channel has, dare I say it, way too much gain. The lows, mids, and highs are perfectly represented and easy to tweek in a searing tone
Overall this is one of the best sounding amps for the money I've ever heard or played through
