HOW DO YOU KEEP THE HILL FROM MOVING?
Chooch has made a wonderful product that represents the timber cribbing used in keeping hillside from slipping down.
The timber cribbing is in five different heights to represent keeping a hill in place. These can be cut to fit into the area you need to stop slipping down on to your road or railway.
These are full size HO scale and look very realistic.

THEY DID NOT WORK FOR ME AXLES TO SHORT
1 of 1 found this helpful When I put the wheel set into the RR truck, the wheel set fell OUT. I tried another wheel set and it also fell out, I opened a second bag and that wheel set fell out.
I checked the wheel set against the plastic wheel I was replacing and it appeared to me that the AXLE was about 1/16"+/- to short.
I have returned the two bags of wheel set to the vendor for a refund.

LIMITED SPACE FOR YOUR EARLY DESIEL ERA TRAILER TRAIN ON YOUR HOME LAYOUT, THESE CARS ARE FOR YOU
These 75' trailer train flat cars are READY TO RUN with couplers already installed. For people who run transition era railroads, the trailers are shorter then the present 40-48 foot modern trailers. My 32' trailers fit on these cars easily and the side of the car makes it easier to handle on most home layouts.
My only regret is that Walthers has discontinued these flat cars, and if you are like me, you look for close outs in hobby shops and renumber duplicates in order to have a Trailer Train to run at the local model railroad club.
