Matrox G450 and G400 video cards
If you have an older computer with integrated/onboard graphics and try to run Windows XP and a broadband internet connection your computer will stutter and/or freeze.
An economical fix for this problem is the Matrox G450 pci video card. If your computer has an agp slot then you will need the Matrox G450 or G400 agp card.
Many of these older onboard video controllers have not had updated drivers since 2001. Some do not even have XP drivers available. The latest G400 drivers are from 2006 and the G450’s drivers were upgraded in July of 2009. They are free to download.
These cards are not for 3D video games so if you want to play 3D games then you’ll need a newer computer with an ATI or nVidia graphics card.
But if you just want to get that old computer stable and watch videos on the internet or do general office work then this is a low cost way to do it.
This review applies only to the basic versions of these cards and not the Quad or other specialized versions of the G450

Well Built Little Amp
2 of 2 found this helpful This is an excellent headphone amplifier. There is a lot of false information on the web about this amp. The output impedance is 0.1 ohms not 30 ohms and it does not sound cold and thin, it is a warm sounding amp.

A paperweight that worked as a hard drive for about three weeks.
1 of 1 found this helpful A word of warning about purchasing a Seagate ST3250318AS 250GB hard drive on Ebay. Some sellers are selling the HP version of this drive and it does not perform as well as the Seagate retail version.
The drive I purchased says it’s a Seagate ST3250318AS on the outside of the drive but because of the HP firmware all software will read it as a VB0250EAVER with firmware HPG0. Seatools doesn’t recognize this drive as a Seagate drive so I was unable to install the Seagate firmware upgrade to fix the problems this drive has. HP does not offer an upgrade.
What all this means to me is I now have a paperweight that worked as a hard drive for about three weeks.
