Romantic tragedy, as fantasy reinterrpreted
I am a great fan of William Shakespeare's work, & I must say I actually like this interpretation of his work better than his own original writings. I feel they actually interpreted the pain & trials of the love between two individuals with fated paths better. Though fantastical in a typical "anime" story line with a sense of naivete, the writers also acknowledge this within the story itself, making the sense of tragedy more poignant There are a few slow parts, & palace intrigue but I feel it really helps the development of the characters and making you feel more connected to them. I would recommend this for most age groups, though some may feel there is a little too much gore for the youngest viewers. Definitely worth the view and price
