good 'ol classic culture flick
great storyline and overall really out there characters pulling together, some unwillingly, in a downward spinning chaotic romp of criminal intent, recommended!

It's a toss up!
Between the original and the remake, both have a different style (the new one is more haunting and the original is cornball in it's own endearing way) they both are classics in their genre. You will have to add both to your collection to have a squealing, squirmy, laugh fest. You could invite some of your quiet, gentle friends and really traumatize them! (well, better not because you may wind up paying for their therapy) five stars and two thumbs up! recommended!!

it's a close call
this film is just a smidge from a five, it is an accurate portrayal of the music industry (almost) and the kid's stage of life where they have to grow up fast. and the sound track is cool, but I wish there was more of it (,background, a passing car etc.) overall a good film I'd recommend it !
