Stephen Lynch, musics new funnyman
3 of 3 found this helpful Stephen Lynch is truly the funniest man in music comedy today. This is not a parody like Weird Al but rather all original tunes and amazing lyrics. Yes, Weird Al is great and I love his work, but Stephen Lynch is completely different. This is also not for children as Mr. Lynch obviously believes no topic to be off limits, not to mention the obscene language.
This is the third CD by Stephen Lynch and they just keep getting better. He is a good guitar played and a great singer, but it is his imagination that makes him what he is. And what is he? He's a freak of nature.
If you are the kind of person that does not think anything and everything can be funny, this CD is not for you. If you like the truly tasteless and outrageous, this CD is for you. If you are offended by ANYTHING, this CD may not be for you.
If you have never heard stephen Lynch, and you have a good sense of humor, you owe it to yourself to get all of his CD's. If you decide you like him, his DVD "Live at the El Ray" is truly a masterpiece.
If you get this, or any of his other CD's/DVD's and you don't think it is genius, you likely have taste & class.

Decent, inexpensive almost instant read thermometer
1 of 1 found this helpful Decent thermometer. It does what it is supposed to do. It is certainly not as high quality as some others I have, which cost 8 or 10 times the price, but for $1+/- it is a good value and it works. A little slow to register sometimes, not exactly instant read, but not bad. In fact, specifically because of the price, I purchased another just for back up. My main instant read thermometer is the type Alton Brown used on Good Eats, but these work ok too. Buy one for this price, you won't be sorry. Shipping time was reasonable, coming from China to the USA, maybe 2 or 3 weeks. Enjoy!

Firefly & Serenity - TV show & Film
I love sci-fi and this television program and the subsequent motion picture are about the best thing to come along in ages. Imagine a cross between star wars & your favorite western. I know, what the hell?!?! Every character in this series and movie are beautifully crafted and performed by amazing actors. The script(s) are imaginative, suspenseful and hysterical. In my humble opinion, these are the best science fiction to hit the screen, big and small, ever. Every episode is something new and creative, the likes of have never before been seen anywhere. Stellar performances by every member of the cast. There is the captain, a former soldier, his 1st mate, she is also a former soldier, her husband, the pilot, a hired gun who is so self-centered it's funny, a preacher who preaches about most anything but the lord, a professional girl, a quirky "shiny" female ship mechanic, the ships doctor who cares for his eccentric little sister who is about the most amazing and captivating character ever in any genre. you can not go wrong with this collection of funny stories, heat wrenching journeys and up in the air action. Plenty of explosions for every guy and mushy crap for the ladies. What more can you ask for, except maybe someone better a writer that I to review it!
