Young Mins 92nd Gordon Highlanders 1815 Bust 1/10th Unpainted Kit
    Jul 17, 2016
    Exceptional sculpture, great detail
impressive sculpture, really great detailing, the character of the Highland Infantry, Steadfast in defense, incredible valor in the assault. Those military virtues are so compellingly sculpted within the features of the soldier's face that one is left with only one deduction. This Gordon Highlander took his place as a soldier of the Grenadier Company on the Day of the Battle of Waterloo, a Fierce Warrior of the Gordon Highlanders. He stood with his Highland Brothers, the 92nd. Ft., together they charged down slope in the company of the Scots Greys, "Scotland Forever", a call to Battle which has echoed through two hundred years.

    well sculpted, with intricate detailing
very intricate detailing, I'm somewhat in doubt of my skill level to complete the vision port supporting bars, to cut them to length and afffix them properly has me somewhere between doubt and total denial of my skill level to accomplish this step. I guess this is part of the problems all modelers encounter, "Can I do it ?". I propose to set the figure aside until I am confident that I can do it,while working on other figures to increase my skill.
