Excellent Little Personal Cooler-Humidifier
I spent many hours researching which personal cooler to buy. This reviewed as the best.
I bought a used one. The prices for new ones are not realistic. Does it cool as advertised?...Yes. I found that it takes awhile to determine just how far away from the unit one can sit or lie and have the cooling breeze be effective. I live in a semi-arid area: summer temperatures 90-100, humidity 10-45 so the humid, cooling air feels very good.
As an aside, when it was initially turned on it did nothing. If that happens you have to take a small instrument and push the tiny metal piece inside the item all the way forward. The tank holds about a quart of water, I use purified and on the medium setting it will last several hours. I discovered I didn't need the high setting. The sound is low and not intrusive. It is perfectly suitable for my needs.
