Flat wounds

They have a mellower sound as well. I'm hooked from here on in.

lightweight
1 of 1 found this helpful Using it for my acoustic at the moment but it'll be used for my new Hofner Club bass when it arrives. Might have to buy another.
Good on a hard floor, but for my living room carpet I taped 2 small lead weights to the front legs for added stability. It's rock solid now.
Great stand for a reasonable price & now my guitar doesn't have to be leaned up in the corner any longer. Happy customer.
